Forming an unforgettable landscape, the rugged surrounding mountains tower 10,000 feet (3,000 metres) above sea level, the courses themselves are at almost 5,000 feet (1,500 metres). Lage und Verkehrsanschluss Directions from Calgary International Airport to Kananaskis Country Golf Course • Follow Airport Road to the traffic light and intersection of Barlow Trail. • Turn left (north) onto Barlow Trail for 0.5 kilometres to Airport Trail and proceed to the Deerfoot Trail interchange. • Turn right (north) onto Deerfoot Trail & take the Highway 201/Stoney Trail exit 271. • Proceed along Stoney Trail until you reach the Trans-Canada Hwy #1. • Take the Highway #1 W/16 AVE N exit 36. • Continue on the Trans-Canada Highway for 63 kilometres to Kananaskis Trail (Highway 40 South). • Exit at Kananaskis Trail, exit 118, and proceed south for 26 kilometres. • Turn right at the Golf Course entrance (Lorette Drive) and proceed to the Valet Parking at the front of the Clubhouse. • Driving time is about 1.5 hours. Sonstiges Situated in the Kananaskis Valley among boreal forest, the Mount Lorette and Mount Kidd Courses are named for the soaring limestone peaks that serve as their breathtaking backdrop. The Courses offer immaculate lush fairways, bent grass greens, over 140 silica sand bunkers, four sets of tee boxes, glacier fed creeks and ponds, the cascading Kananaskis River and a variety of wildlife.
